Los Angeles: Day 1

it is almost 7 AM and in a few short hours i will be leaving for los angeles by way of santa fe. i have decided to document the trip on this blog which i have not done in some time.

i am driving to los angeles to play music with my friend danielle in support of her new record. i first met her last summer when i passed through santa fe on my potluck tour of homes. we became friends very quickly and a few weeks ago she asked me to play with her. last week my roommate and i picked her up from norman, oklahoma where she caught a ride with a friend. danielle and i have been practicing steadily every morning last week in the garage/apartment that i used to live in on my parent's property. we would usually arrive and eat a nice meal that my dad had prepared for us. usually there was fruit involved.

now we are making our way to los angeles and will be stopping santa fe first. i will have pictures up later. i have to leave now. please check back here.
